Home based Interviewing Jobs

The ESRI are seeking interviewers for social surveys.
The ESRI carries out surveys of households and businesses throughout Ireland. These deal with important issues of public interest and social attitudes and contribute to government policy in areas such as education, health, employment and social welfare.
They are currently seeking more interviewers to carry out face-to-face surveys over the coming months and for future work as it arises. In general, interviewers may schedule their work, within timelines set by the Institute and much of the work may be done in the evenings and weekends. Outside main cities you will need access to transport. You should have Leaving Certificate education or equivalent and very fluent spoken and written English. Full training will be provided. Previous experience of survey interviewing would be an advantage. A background in healthcare, education or social science, while not essential, could be helpful.Surveys are nationwide so applications from all over the country are welcome.

Assist in the development of courses as required
Assist in the organisation of referee education courses in County Roscommon
Assist in the organisation of administrator, volunteer and parent workshops in County Roscommon
Assist in the implementation of the ‘Code of Ethics’ programme in County Roscommon
Attend and assist in the organisation of regional / national seminars, educational workshops and events as required and agreed

Grassroots Development:

Facility Development:

Assist Roscommon County Council, in matters relating to the development of sport in the area as required

Management Processes:
Adhere to all management processes as directed by the Technical Director and the Director of Community and Enterprise of Roscommon County Council, and / or persons nominated by them
An annual work programme must be submitted to the Technical Director and the Director of Community and Enterprise and/ or their nominee(s)
This work programme will be developed in conjunction with the FAI Technical Department and Roscommon County Council
Formal Quarterly Reports will be submitted to the Technical Director and the Director of Community and Enterprise and/ or their nominee(s), on agreed dates. Monthly updates will be delivered at Community and Enterprise Team meetings
Strictly adhere to procedures outlined by the F.A.I. Technical Director in relation to any financial matters
The development officer will complete on a weekly basis a retrospective time sheet outlining work carried out on a particular week. This work sheet will be available for viewing by the FAI Technical Director and the Director of Community and Enterprise of Roscommon County Council and/ or their nominee(s)
Promotion of the game of football:
Working in cooperation with all leagues and stakeholders in the county to promote the game
Represent the FAI at local meetings regarding the development of Technical Development Plan programmes as agreed in advance by both funding agencies
Identifying and assisting local community initiatives which may benefit the development of the game
Identifying sources of funding available for the local football development
